JFL Informatique ("we", "us") operates this website and provides managed web presence for businesses. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights. It reflects Quebec's Law 25.
1. Information we collect
When you use the contact form or write to us, we collect your name, email address, your site address (if you provide it) and the content of your message. If you subscribe, our payment provider collects your billing information. We may also collect basic technical data (for example, the IP address in server logs) to keep the site secure.
2. Why we collect it
To answer your request, prepare a quote, provide and bill the service, and keep our systems secure. We do not collect more information than is needed for these purposes.
3. Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the site and the service:
- Payment: Stripe (our payment provider), once the online subscription is live
- Contact form: FormSubmit (forwards the message to contact@jfl.quebec)
- Hosting: a Linux server (VPS) operated for JFL Informatique — region: Quebec (Canada)
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
4. Where data is stored
Data is stored on our providers' servers, located in Quebec (Canada). No transfer outside Quebec is made.
5. How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept for 24 months, then deleted. Client records are kept during the service relationship and afterwards as required by applicable legal and accounting obligations.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, withdraw your consent, or request a copy in a structured, commonly used technological format. Write to contact@jfl.quebec or call 450 238-0464. We respond within the timeframes set by Law 25.
7. Cookies
The site remembers your theme preference (light or dark) in your browser. No analytics tool is used at this time. If one is added, it will be described here and, where required, subject to consent.
8. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
9. Changes
Any change to this notice will be published on this page.
